Is that the logo?

I like it.

I believe it is a temporary logo with a contest planned to make a permanent one.

Rod,

If you mean the BrickCAN with the brick in the middle and the maple leaf in the A - that's it for now. Things may change at some point in the future but we're fairly happy with that one for now.

As for the "anything CAN happen" well... you'll just have to wait and see what happens ... because anything CAN!!

You must be joking? It looks terrible, like someone slapped it together with MS Paint. That, and conversation around the Tillicum show, is why I assumed it was a placeholder.

I am sure they will have a block of rooms available for attendees.

Spencer,
Don't rush on any room booking. Rooms are being held for us and we will have special rates when all the dust settles. Stay tuned.

Ted,
Sorry you don't approve. Robin and Steven, our graphic design guy designed it. Send us something else, we're open to suggestions for the future.

Ted! Dude! Why so harsh? It's not THAT bad ... Seriously though, after millions of potential design ideas, we had to get something out there, and so we went with the strongest one at the time. We don't believe that anyone is going to make a go/no-go decision on the Con based on the logo ...

It will almost certainly change, and as has been mentioned, we'll probably hold a design contest in a few months.

So, start thinking about your design!

LOL, so it is a placeholder. ;)

I know we have many talented artists in the community - like Joseph - who could come up with something much better.

Ty Ted :) I'm aware of the logo status, I just haven't had time to do much as taking care of stuff on the homefront. I'm looking forward to the competition though and will def come up with something for that. I think it's a great way to go as it will drive extra attention and buzz to the event!
