A beautiful effect, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Odd, I find myself thinking I could do that to basic brick. Not minifigs or other non- 2xX bricks of course but I have lots of the regular stuff that would make a great bit of LEGO "art".
Suprising myself with that one.

Sure, I think we all have the bricks to "spare".
For me it's more the principal.
Besides, have you ever heard the sound that bricks make when they melt? It's like boiling lobsters.

I couldn't, not with any bricks. not even sure I could with broken bricks. that would wig me out too if I had that in the house, not sure if I'm ok with that, this is like a horror movie ( says the guy who separates his broken bricks by type of destruction )
