About VicLUG |
What's VicLUG? VicLUG is the Victoria Lego Users Group. We're a group of adults who collect and build with Lego and have regular meetings and shows throughout the year. Back to top |
Do you work for Lego? Our group has no direct affiliation with the Lego company and don't speak on behalf for them. We have more direct communication with the company but there is no employees in our group. Back to top |
Do you allow kids in your group? As permitted under provincial and federal legislation governing private organizations we are limiting membership applications to those individuals who are 18 years of age or older and we will admit new members who subscribe, and whom we believe will adhere, to the club's purpose, policies and practices.
Everyone is welcome to visit when we have or are participating in a show or event! Back to top |
Do you guys host birthday parties? Probably not, but you can ask: lego@viclug.ca We have partnered with Saanich Commonwealth pool to offer a Lego course for kids and more info about that can be found in the Events section of this site. Back to top |

About Lego |
What's a MOC and AFOL? Lego fans use several acronyms for commonly used phrases ( common for use at least ). A MOC is 'my own creation' or something that you've built. An AFOL is 'adult fan of Lego'. More acronyms ( like SNOT and BURPs ) can be found here: http://www.lugnet.com/~88/acronym_faq/all Back to top |
I have some Lego I want to sell, would you be interested? Probably someone in our group will be! lego@viclug.ca You can average bulk Lego at $5 a pound and if it's a special, complete or collectors set then we could come to a fair arrangement. Back to top |
Are you connected somehow to the Sidney Museum Lego show? We participated for the first time in 2008 at the Sidney show and looking forward to future involvement with our frineds at the Sidney Museum! Back to top |

Whom do I contact about abusive and/or legal matters related to this board? You should contact the administrator of this board. If you cannot find who that is, you should first contact one of the forum moderators and ask them who you should in turn contact. If still get no response you should contact the owner of the domain (do a whois lookup) or, if this is running on a free service (e.g. yahoo, free.fr, f2s.com, etc.), the management or abuse department of that service. Please note that phpBB Group has absolutely no control and cannot in any way be held liable over how, where or by whom this board is used. It is absolutely pointless contacting phpBB Group in relation to any legal (cease and desist, liable, defamatory comment, etc.) matter not directly related to the phpbb.com website or the discrete software of phpBB itself. If you do email phpBB Group about any third party use of this software then you should expect a terse response or no response at all. Back to top |
