Yup, I built some Vancouver stuff to augment it. Not much, but a local community build table that I built (and glued) a BC Place, Science World, Craft Brewhouse, new "Tesoro" building (from the exhibit sponsor "Concert Properties"), and a bunch of other goodies. Plus, we'll be do...

Local LEGO Fan needs your vote!

Hi guys, Andrei is a local kid LEGO builder, and a good one. Some of you will have met him. He's had winning builds in the Tillicum contest, and has come to the Sidney events over the past few years. He's a keener. He also learned he's Type-1 diabetic a couple of years ago. He and his parents have c...

Really nice! We gotta have it at BrickCan! (sorry, that's my default response to cool MOCs these days ...)

And what about at Tillicum? I don't who you are, Seniorpumpkin, but are you planning on coming out and showing it at the Tillicum event?

Yes, thanks! If anyone else notices anything odd as we move forward, please let me (or John or Mary) know. At this point, all that's active is hotel bookings. You can go now and book rooms at the hotel at the discounted rate, including dates before and after the event. It's all on the Hotel page - h...

Ted, we got your account sign-up, but as the page text says, full registration actually won't be open for a few weeks, so there's nothing to do there yet.

You must be joking? It looks terrible, like someone slapped it together with MS Paint. That, and conversation around the Tillicum show, is why I assumed it was a placeholder. Ted! Dude! Why so harsh? It's not THAT bad ... Seriously though, after millions of potential design ideas, we had to get som...

Cuusoo is deceitful and abusive? Do tell. I'm curious what you're referring to. As to the set itself, like most others I think it could be much better, all things considered, but Andrew's review is bang on the money. There are two factors - cost/price point, and also the ability (in the case of the ...

Saw a presentation that Jamie (Sopwith designer) did in Billund, DK last week when I was there. He had several early variants of the model and talked about all the challenges they went through getting everything just right. Coolest thing is that the ailerons and elevators actually work!! They're con...

This was filmed in October/November. The shots of me tending to the exhibit were actually filmed in Ottawa, where *I* was while you guys were all having fun at Brickcon (sigh ...). And of course, some of you probably met Jess at Brickcon while he was filming there. He's planning more "episodes&...

Ya, there's a bit of that concept in there - but add a water component in as well! And then there's things like camels, dog-sleds, segways, pogo-sticks, penny-farthings ... :)
